Terms & Conditions

The terms that govern your use of this site and any services booked through it.

Effective date: March 31, 2026
Last reviewed: March 31, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of grantreddoch.com (the "Site") and any services or digital products offered through it. By accessing this Site or submitting a booking inquiry, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this Site.

This Site is operated by Grant Reddoch ("I," "me," or "my"), a solo Catholic liturgical musician based in Lake Charles, Louisiana. All services described on this Site are provided directly by me as an individual, not through a corporate entity.

1. Use of This Site

Permitted Use

You may use this Site for lawful purposes only — to learn about my services, listen to recordings, purchase sheet music, or submit a booking inquiry. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law.
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form on this Site.
  • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site or its infrastructure.
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract content from this Site without my prior written permission.
  • Use the Site to transmit unsolicited commercial communications.

No Account Required

This Site does not require you to create an account. Booking and contact forms are submitted without registration and are handled via Netlify's form-processing infrastructure.

2. Booking Inquiries & Service Agreements

Inquiries Are Not Binding Contracts

Submitting the Booking Inquiry Form does not constitute a confirmed booking or create a binding contract. An inquiry is simply an expression of interest. I will review your submission and follow up by email to discuss availability, details, and pricing. A booking is only confirmed when both parties have agreed to specific terms in writing (typically via email exchange) and any required deposit has been received.

Services Offered

Services available for booking include, but are not limited to:

  • Retreat Music — music ministry for high school, college, and parish retreats.
  • Liturgical Music — cantoring and instrumental accompaniment for Sunday Mass, feast days, Eucharistic adoration, and chanted Liturgy of the Hours.
  • Adoration / Holy Hours — standalone Eucharistic adoration events.
  • Weddings — cantoring for Catholic wedding liturgies.

Service availability is subject to my schedule and geographic range. I primarily serve the Diocese of Lake Charles and surrounding areas within approximately a four-hour radius, including other Louisiana dioceses and neighboring areas of Texas and Mississippi.

Cancellations

Once a booking is confirmed in writing, the following cancellation terms apply:

  • Cancellations with more than 14 days' notice — no fee is owed beyond any non-refundable travel expenses already incurred (see below).
  • Cancellations within 14 days of the event — 50% of the agreed service fee is owed, regardless of whether any payment has yet been made. This covers preparation, scheduling, and loss of the date.
  • Non-refundable travel expenses — If flights, lodging, or other travel accommodations have been booked at the time of cancellation and cannot be refunded or transferred, the full cost of those expenses is owed by the cancelling party, regardless of when the cancellation occurs.
  • If I must cancel — In the event I must cancel due to illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstance, I will notify you as soon as possible. No service fee will be owed, and I will work with you to reschedule or provide a full refund of any amounts already paid.

Any cancellation terms specific to your booking that differ from the above will be set out in our written agreement and govern over this general language.

Host Responsibilities

For retreat and overnight engagements, the hosting organization is responsible for providing meals and lodging unless otherwise agreed in writing. I bring standard equipment for most engagements (guitar, DI box, microphone, cables, mixer, monitor, and stands); however, a PA system and keyboard are not included — the venue must supply these unless separately arranged.

3. Pricing

All pricing displayed on this Site represents starting rates and is subject to change. Final pricing depends on event type, duration, travel distance, and any special requirements, and will be confirmed in writing prior to booking. Listed prices do not include travel expenses for events requiring significant travel unless otherwise stated.

I reserve the right to update pricing at any time. Price changes do not affect confirmed bookings that have already been agreed to in writing.

4. Intellectual Property

Site Content

All content on this Site — including text, photographs, audio recordings, biographical information, and graphic elements — is owned by me or used with permission, and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, or create derivative works from any site content without my prior written permission.

Musical Compositions

Original musical compositions authored by me are protected by copyright. Performing, recording, arranging, or distributing my original works requires a separate written license. Sheet music purchased through this Site (see Section 5 below) includes a limited license as described in that section.

Audio Recordings

Recordings available on this Site for listening are provided for personal, non-commercial preview purposes only. They may not be downloaded, redistributed, or used in other productions without my explicit written permission.

5. Sheet Music & Digital Downloads

Purchase & Delivery

Sheet music and other digital products sold through this Site are processed and fulfilled by Gumroad, Inc. ("Gumroad"). When you click to purchase, you are directed to Gumroad's platform to complete the transaction. By purchasing, you also agree to Gumroad's Terms of Service. All payment processing is handled by Gumroad; I do not receive or store any payment card information.

License for Purchased Sheet Music

My sheet music is priced to reflect the number of singers or performers who will use it. Upon purchase, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to print and distribute physical copies of the score up to the quantity covered by your purchase. For example, if you purchase a single copy, you may print one copy; if you purchase a choir license for twenty singers, you may print up to twenty copies. The product listing will specify what quantity each purchase covers.

This license permits you to:

  • Print physical copies up to the licensed quantity for use by your ensemble or choir.
  • Perform the work in live, non-commercial liturgical or educational settings.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise at the point of purchase, the following are not permitted without a separate written license:

  • Printing more copies than the quantity covered by your purchase.
  • Recording or commercially releasing a performance of the work.
  • Distributing or sharing the digital file (PDF or otherwise) with others.
  • Publishing or posting the score online in any form.
  • Creating and distributing arrangements or derivative works.

For licensing inquiries — including larger print runs, recordings, or broadcast use — please contact me using the information in Section 9.

Refunds for Digital Products

Because digital products are immediately accessible upon purchase, all sales of sheet music and digital downloads are generally final. If you experience a technical issue with a download (e.g., a corrupted file), please contact me and I will work to resolve it promptly.

6. Disclaimers

This Site and its contents are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. I make no warranty that:

  • The Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
  • Any particular service will be available on any given date.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of this Site, any services rendered, or any digital products purchased — including, without limitation, loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of goodwill — even if I have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

My total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or any service or product provided shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for that service or product, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

8. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of this Site shall be resolved in the courts of Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Before initiating any formal proceeding, I encourage you to contact me directly so we can attempt to resolve any issue informally.
